Be sure you order the right kit for your airplane !!

RV 7/8/10
This kit utilizes 1/8" NPT fittings.

RV 4/6
This kit utilizes 1/4" NPT fittings.

What does the
kit do?

The ER Tank Bung Kit installs into the fuel tank endwall and the brass plug seals the bung. Now your airplane is prepped for easy future installation of ER Tanks.

Why install
the bungs?

The Bung Kit preps your airplane for future installation of the ER Tanks. With bungs already installed, tank installation is accomplished more quickly and easily.

When should you
install the bungs?

Install the bungs any time during the wing/tank building process. It's quick and easy to install the bungs at the same time you are installing the fuel sending units and doing final closeup of the main fuel tanks.

What if you never
install ER Tanks?

Shown at left, the bung is easy to install and seals with the included brass plug (shown in the images above.)

If you install ER Tanks, the bung is already in place and speeds up the process. If you never install ER Tanks, the bungs still increase the value of your airplane by making it "ER Tank ready".
