Pitot Masts are acid stripped and finished with a high quality anodized coating at a local aviation parts manufacturing shop.

Builder may apply paint or powder coat finish as desired.

Mast is installed just outboard of inspection panel in lower aft wing skin. A cutting template is provided to assist in cutting out the streamline tubing shape. Next, the "joggle" tab is match-drilled with the lower spar flange, then the mounting plate is fastened into the spar flange and wing skin, (see cleco locations above). Typical installation takes about 90 minutes and requires only common RV building tools.
