River Acres is a private community airpark located approximately 120 miles south of Orlando and 90 miles northwest of West Palm Beach. Pilots coming in via commercial carrier would likely arrive Orlando MCO. From there, you can rent a car and drive to River Acres. If you will be flying into River Acres, be sure to check the AWOS on 118.675 at Okeechobee County, (OBE). See the link below for more information about OBE. http://www.airnav.com/airport/KOBE Driving to River Acres from Orlando (MCO): From Orlando MCO north exit take the Cocoa Toll road east to 2nd exit Narcoosee Hwy. 15 go south on 15 to US 441 turn east/left follow to Holopaw turn south/right on 441 pass thru Yeehaw junction and Ft Drum pass 68 east and look for 68 west on your right after you pass the correctional institution entrance on your left. Take 68 west to US 98 turn left go 200’ turn right on N. W. 144 trail go 5 mi. cross RR tracks take 2nd right 83 Terrace go 2 blocks to N. W. 80th Drive and turn right look for alligator mailbox on left and go 3 houses past on left. From West Palm Beach PBI take I 95 north to Blue Heron Exit turn west/left go to SR 710 turn right and follow 710 to US 70 turn west/left and go through the town of Okeechobee to US 98 north toward Sebring go 13 miles look for N. W. 144th Trial on left (Only paved road to left after you leave town.). From there follow above directions to house. 19840 N.
